Crash and capture at Dollar General | Free News

A Seminary man was arrested after crashing his vehicle into the Dollar General on Highway 590, outside of Ellisville, late Thursday afternoon, the Jones County Sheriff’s Department reported. Cullen Carter, 32, was arrested by Cpl. La-Dean Byrd, right, and Deputy Jarone’ Walker at the scene and charged with DUI-other. Damage to the building was described as “significant, but no injuries were reported to patrons or employees. EMServ Ambulance Service and Southwest Jones volunteers responded to the incident along with JCSD units. Carter was incarcerated in the Jones County Adult Detention Facility pending his initial appearance in Jones County Justice Court. (Photos by JCSD)
