Matt Lucas 'looking for love on Tinder' after quitting popular show

Comedy star Matt Lucas is reportedly looking for love on Tinder, according to reports. It comes after he quit the popular baking series The Great British Bake Off 12 months ago.

It seems the TV star is looking to swipe left on sweet treats, but will swipe right for Mr Right on the popular dating app. Reports say the Little Britain actor has set up a dating profile on the site, with screenshots surfacing online.

Matt Lucas ‘signs up to Tinder’

If the photos are true, it seems the celebrity avoided famous match-making dating app Raya. The luxury app only allows the elite of showbiz and Hollywood to sign up. The late Matthew Perry was spotted on Raya before his tragic death in a bid to find love.

Raya is a tight-lipped community, not everyone can create an account to find their perfect partners in the stars. Only a recommendation service is permitted, or you are verified by Raya themselves. But it’s usually full of celebrities, millionaires and people from Tinsel Town.

Matt Lucas is single on Tinder, after splitting two years following his wedding in 2006.

The Sun reports his profile explains he’s “still figuring out” what he’s looking for. The Come Fly With Me star also listed The Lion Sleeps Tonight by Tight Fit as his ‘anthem’ – what a choice.

His list of interests included comedy, music, football and West End musicals.

‘Nobody believes it’s his real profile’

Matt Lucas first started using Tinder back in 2015, and opened up over how potential matches didn’t believe it was really him.

He said at the time: “I love it.

“It’s like a game, left, right, left, right.

“And then sometimes I go ‘Hello,’ and they go, ‘You’re not Matt Lucas’.

“I go, ‘I don’t know what to say'”.

To help entice potential dates, he also has included images of his famous Little Britain character, Marjorie Dawes, from the Fat Fighters. Will he find Mr Right to become the next hot celebrity couple?
