MVC Womens Basketball returns to Vibrant Arena, Moline

The Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament returns to Vibrant Arena at the MARK in Moline from Thursday-Sunday, March 14-17, according to a news release.

This year marks the ninth consecutive year of this event’s Quad Cities residency, affirming its status as the nation’s longest standalone neutral site women’s basketball tournament, the release says.

This event significantly boosts the Quad Cities’ economy by stimulating local businesses and tourism. In 2023 alone, the tournament generated a direct economic impact of $1.9 million. Furthermore, its coverage on ESPN+ and ESPNU reached over 52,000 unique digital viewers and attracted a minimum audience of 97,380 for the championship game. 

With 12 universities competing, including Belmont, Bradley, Drake, Evansville, UIC, Illinois State, Indiana State, Missouri State, Murray State, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois, and Valparaiso, the tournament promises thrilling action for basketball enthusiasts of all ages.
